Opened and served 1 hour later in Spigelau Bordeaux style glasses without any decanting. The wine displayed beautiful and vibrant colors of violet in the glass as swirled. Good nose of raspberry, tobacco and smoke. The wine had a tangy flavor of plum up front with a silky finish in this well-balanced package. 90 points. I would drink now through 2007.

Ruby Red with some bricking on the edges. Again strait from the cellar, took 30 minutes to come around. Nice nose of cassis, flowers ans spices. Nice smooth texture, tannins have resolved. This is drinking well but IMO is not going to improve any more. Drink before it goes down the slope. Nice medium length finish. (91 pts.)
