Drank over a 4 hour period. Did not decant but probably should have.
Pretty much what you expect and love about Pride Cabs. Mountain power and beautiful fruit in lieu of the finesse and elegance you find in a Spottswoode. The evolving tannins now have a pleasing velvelty texture. All the usual flavors you find in Pride such as; blackberries, anise, mineral, cedar and spice. Nice lingering after taste. Not sure how much this wine will improve in spite of its youthful dark garnet color but I have one left and I'm inclined to give it 2-3 more years. 93pts
