  • 1994 Château Meyney - France, Bordeaux, Médoc, St. Estèphe (2/9/2007)
Purchased on release. Maroon color, with bricking on the rims. A thin and wispy wine, full of herbal, tea-like aromas and flavors with a scratchy, acidic finish. Need a search party to find any fruit. No real improvement with food (lamb chops). A dud. (78 pts.)

Good to hear from you. I heard your 40th b-day party was one for the memory books. Unfortunately, grossie doesn't remember much of it! Razz

Good to hear that you've had some good examples of this bottling. Gives me hope for my remaining singleton.

On a separate note, I'll be in London next month and the evening of Wednesday, March 14th is unscheduled. Shoot me an email at m dot boersma at comcast dot net if you feel like drinking some wine that night.

Cheers,

Otis
