So I bought the wine because of its cute name and the label. Opened today with no decanting and no airing. It's a smahing wine, reminded me of the 01 Neal which I had just a few days ago. The dark fruit is under a sheer veil of tannin and enticing you from the first smell. It has lots of blackcurrant (which I love) with black/blueberry nose. Also hint of chocolate and eucalyptus. It tastes according to the smells, and the tannins are bitterwseet (which I like) but without the oak vanilla notes that one would expect, given the sweetnes. Overall 93 points with room to grow and at $24 a great find. I will get 6 more tomorrow.Big Grin

FYI: I've not had this, but I'm told that it is the second wine of Eglehoff. My friend tried to convince me to get this -- I got a couple of bottles of Pinot instead. Next time I go back I'll pick one up, though. Hell, if it reminded you of Neal... Eek Roll Eyes
