This should be another in the string of excellent vintages providing it doesn't rain. Harvest began two days ago. Rain this time of year in Priorat is not normally a problem. In fact, in very dry years, it can be a blessing, though not this year.

No. We drove past the winery, in Poboleda, I believe, but didn't have any time to stop and no appointment. I'd guess the wine to be very good. You'd have to search hard to find a 2004 Priorat that wasn't good.
