I will NOT do any business with the US Wine Association from this point forward.

I know this issue has been debated here as well as on other forums. I will post my experience on all of the major wine forums, and I will do this with regularity in an attempt to prevent others from making the same mistake.

I ordered a case of 2007 Maybach Cabernet on December 4th. My credit card was charged in full at that time. On December 7th, I was notified they would not be able to complete my order. I engaged in email dialogue with them on Dec 7th, 8th, and 10th. On the 10th of December, they assured me they would immediately issue a refund for the wine as well as my membership fee. I contacted my credit card company at that time to protect myself in the event things did not go smoothly. They informed me I needed to wait 30 days before I could formally dispute the charges, but they made note of my complaint.

I have engaged in email contact with the US Wine Association on several occasions, and each time they promised a prompt refund. I still do not have check in hand. At each point of correspondence, I notified them that I would share my very negative experience on all of the major wine forums if they failed to promptly resolve this issue and provide a full refund. It has been over 3 weeks since I placed my order.

Again, I will not do any business with the US Wine Association.
