I had La Crema 02 Viognier the other day and thought it was very nice. It did see some light oak, which you may or may not like. I also like Jewel Viognier, which should be under $10. Hawley's Viognier smelled and tasted more like a Chardonnay because of the oak, but if it had been a Chardonnay, I would have liked it more. Pepe Viognier with a Stelvin closure is inexpensive, but I thought it was a little bitter.

My favorite Viognier is Pesquie from France.
there's a reason really good viogniers cost more than $20. okay, there may be some inexpensive ones that you can drink with food, but the true sippers tip the scale a little higher. i'll keep looking
