I have three small and two larger vino-temp units and I keep them set at 60 degrees. However, when we have a power outage, which happens frequently in California, the units reset themselves to 55 degrees when they come back on. I'm wondering if the reoccuring 5 degree temp swing will hurt. I do have some higher priced - long term storage wines, including first growths, should I set these at 55 all the time? The reason I went with 60 degrees was to strike a balance between energy conversation and a good storage temp. Since I have multiple units I could consolidate the higher price-long term wines to a unit set at 55, while keeping everything else at 60. Although, right now I have the high priced wines distributed amoung all five units, just in case there is a malfunction, I wouldn't loose all the good stuff at once. Maybe this is much-a-do about nothin, but welcome your thoughts. . . cheers
