Hi Everyone

I just bought my first wine fridge from Aldi. About time I got some of my nice collection into a better environment (hopefully)? It’s a cheap one which holds 40 bottles. Runs with a compressor. Seems to be working OK with very little fluctuation in temperature. Good.

I was rearranging contents today. The weather is rainy so quite a bit of humidity. I noticed ice forming on the rear panel when the compressor next operated. To be expected. However what concerns me is this. Obviously the cooling is done through this rear panel (no fan). I am concerned that this will have an adverse effect on the wine as the top or base of the bottles are next to the cold panel.

Any comments gratefully appreciated. I don't want to move my wine to a worser (can I say that?) environment.

cheers
