My little stimulus deposit was made on the Ides of April. Was thinking of using it for political contributions but think I'll spend it locally to help my neighbors instead.

Hardly. We have my townhouse we are living in. The other two are small single family homes in nice towns walkable to cool central business districts, train stations, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. However both of those are in the top 3 shitty houses on their block.
One property will be renovated as our forever home, and the other two sold. Timeframe is obviously pushed out now.

Unlike someone like you, sitting happily with their stimulus paycheck, I've had to do lay offs and had to explain to my contractors I will pay them up to 4/15 since my cash flow is gone, so your snarky comment isn't appreciated. and clearly you need to take a look at your reflection if you want to bring "pure class" into a sentence if you enjoy the suffering of those of us really struggling to make it work.
And what kind of dumb shit are you to think I didn't apply for the PPP? Me, like many small businesses applied the very first day we could. I've applied with 3 separate banks that i've got banking relationships the very moment they announced it open that friday and all 3 of them dragged ass for almost 2 weeks while I see this administration talk about how the money is flowing. Turns out publically traded companies were getting the money before me. The only true opportunity I got was when PayPal was allowed to process these loans, but they only got permission earlier this week and contrary to news reports, the PPP fund ran out Tuesday 4/14 night.
I've tried to take every advantage of these programs. the EIDL that was suppose to be 10k per business got reduced to 1K per person, and still isn't funded. I've tried to utilize the delaying of social security payments as per the tax credit but that's only a credit I can claim back for next years taxes, which wouldn' tmatter anyway because 0 income means 0 taxes.
So yes, I'll stay pure class and you can go fuck yourself with your sarcasm and tongue in cheek nature.
JG, sorry to hear of the fruitless journey at trying to get some of the funds. Mirrors what I’ve heard from a number of business owners who did everything quickly and correctly, and ended up with long periods of silence and ultimately a “no soup for you”.
Seems that the best success ratio was amongst those who banked with a small, local institution or chain, rather than one of the big national behemoths (i.e. Chase, Wells, BofA, etc).
Hoping that you and your staff can rebound from this quickly once things settle down there.

My PPP loan application was denied, so no loan, no stimulus money. I wish I had a better credit score.
