Any knowledge of the provenance?

The Jaboulet Cornas could be excellent, providing ideal provenance. If not, it could be tiring. I think Cornas is the most under-rated wine in the Rhone, north or south. Chapoutier's Les Arenes are consitently outstanding if you can find them.

I might add, these wines can age gracefully for decades.

Provenance? Unknown. Most likely sitting on the store shelf (hopefully on their sides) for years, or in their store room. No sunlight, temperature spikes, but probably never cooler than 65F or so.

I bought a couple bottles of 1995 Olivier Feflaive, Bourgogne, Santenay last week from the same stock, $21/per. Bottle #1 had a good cork, 1/3 of it stained, it was tiring, but still pleasant, good earth, with some fruit remaining. #2, had a soaked cork, and was more over the hill, but not dump-worthy. No signs of heat damage---the cork level was fine on both---and both had a small amount of sediment that settled after being stood for three days.

On the ones I listed earlier, I don't have prices, but will go see what's what on ones that might be candidates.

In addition to the comments above, I would not touch the Beaurenard CDP for at least another 2-3 years. Some of the wines should be good to go, those with at least 12 years or more of age on them.
