I absolutely was blown away....a true light bulb moment. I was making a quick snack of multi grain crackers, grey poupon mustard, jarlsberg cheese and smoked turkey. I felt like having a bit of wine, thought white burgandy and instead chose a 375 of Paul Hobbs 2002 Chard.

From the first sip, I could have died a happy man. But then, I began a never ending feast. The combination was so perfect between the snack crackers and Chard, that I repeated the same effort the next night. Subtle and mellow "cool" flavors with a fresh rather than molded hint of oak, light citrus and touch of
cream to add depth. Everything that a chard is not (if that could be said). Truly a most memorable pairing. Should anyone have any they are willing to give up, let me know. I have another box of crackers ready to go.
