I ate there a couple weeks after it opened. The dining room is by far the most visually stunning I've ever seen. Spectacular views of the Wrigley clock tower and Tribune tower. If your goal is to have a special occasion (anniversary dinner) or to impress business clients and out of towners, Sixteen will do it. 4 star service and facilites.
The food on the other hand was 3 star, very good but no better than any of the other top restaurants in Chicago. As you might expect the wine list is very over priced. we wound up with a 2006 Merry Edwards Pinot Noir (forget which one)that was enjoyable and a 2005 El Nido Clio
If you're looking for a unique dining experience & scene it's worth one visit, if you're just looking for a great meal you're better off at Graham Elliot. Sorry I couldn't be more descriptive, been a long time since I went. I think it came out to $850 for four of us.
