Selection to last 25 yrs....?

what year were you married? what type of wines do you like and do you have proper storage facilities for the wine?

that is a great suggestion indeed. a lot of people on this forum do just that.

they buy a case of wine for each year their children are born, the year they were married, etc.

like Thirsty said though, vintage is key here, as well as your likes / dislikes.

Do you care what vintage you select? Do you want it to be celebratory of an anniversary or anything? What's your budget?

We were married in 2009. I am not too hung up on something from that vintage though. Rather a good selection that will stand the test of time. I have adequate storage and we both love Pinot Noir, Cab and Zinfadel. From a price perspective - tough one as 2 cases of anything gets expensive quickly!! Perhaps $40-50 a bottle. Appreciate your help!!
