If anyone has info on where I can obtain a bottle of '66 LB that is in good condition here in the USA please let me know. WS Pro shows availability in Europe only. My email is justinhome at msn dot com. TIA for any help.
IW, be aware that, even with good provenance, this wine might be tiring. I loved the 1966 Bordeaux vintage, but the only ones I'm still holding are the Lafite and Latour. The Latour will be fine for another decade.
Not necessarily, Lentini. 1955 was generally a better and longer-lived vintage than 1966, imo. That said, I've never had a Las Cases that I thought was improving more than 30 years after vintage date, though they hold well for quite a while. I look forward to your notes on it.
