Yeah, he seems to opposite kind of guy from his late brother Beau.

But nothing to do with Hunter has anything to do with Trump or his Joe's campaign, much less Trump's now clear quid pro quo of a meeting for the new Ukrainian President in return for an investigation into Hunter and by extension, Joe.   After Sondland's testimony yesterday and Hill's testimony previously and today, there can be no question that Trump was trying to trade US support for Ukraine's fragile democracy for his own personal political advantage.  Which, given his track record of always doing what is best for him rather than what is best for America, surprises no one who isn't a to-the-death Trumpublican loyalist.

No argument that Hunter Biden is a deeply flawed individual.  That said, I can think of more egregious examples of morally deficient people holding positions that they are not qualified for.

Sundland gives $1 million to the Trump inauguration fund. Gets to be Ambassador to the EU. That's a quid pro quo.

I'd like to be ambassador to France. I wonder what that would cost me. (My law school classmate, Jamie McCourt, is the current ambassador to France.  She paid big bucks for that position.  She's way cuter than I am though).

Not sure how cute you are, since you've (sadly) avoided both DC offlines I've attended in the past few months, but I expect she is richer than you.  If not, I'm available for adoption!

sorry to have missed you.  I'm not quite as wealthy as Jamie, as she got more than $100 million when she split up with her husband for her piece of the LA Dodgers.

I saw that when I googled her.  But her ex got the Dodgers and nearly $2billion when he sold them.  Perhaps you should have been her divorce lawyer!

A court ruled that she was entitled to 50% of the Dodgers.  Soon thereafter, the divorce case was settled and she got about $130 million. A few months later, the Dodgers were sold for $2 Billion (as you reported). Hence, I'd rather be the lawyer representing her in the malpractice case against her divorce lawyer.

Irwin, without debate the entire State Department testifying the past couple of weeks clearly are the finest examples of what America has to offer to the world. To say they put our congress and God knows what the Orange Dung and his band of fluffers to shame would be an understatement.

Intelligent people that aren’t racist like Napa and his hero the POS in the White House would agree with your assessment of what immigrants have to offer.

Had a good conversation with a friend at the pub today, and realized that I have never taken a selfie.  I've been included in more than a few, but have never pressed the trigger myself.

I remember being at an outdoor art installation last month and seeing a couple fumbling around trying to get a good picture of themselves with the sculpture in the background.  I offered to take a few shots of them with their iPhone.  The look of surprise on their faces was worth the price of admission.  The pictures were awesome, if I may say so.

So reassuring to hear from such professional, accomplished and  non-political public servants.  It actually made me proud to be American in a way I haven't in some time.  Of course the orange menace had to classify many as "never-dumpers" as though any analysis of anyone's value or service needed to be passed through the filter of dotard-loyalty.  Sad.

It's a poll by Rasmussen, I just linked an article that cited the poll.  Also, I noted a poll by NAACP showing a lower support level of 20%. I would expect somewhere in between is the likely number.  It is still a very significant level of support.

What do you call African Americans that support Trump?

Masochists??

As for Rasmussen, they are the only pollster ever showing more Americans approving Trump's performance than not (though their latest shows 11% more disapproving) . And they get only a C+ rating from the fivethirtyeight website:

For the record, I don't think everyone who supports Trump is a racist.  But I do think that those that continue to support him after all the harm he's done and horrible things he's said are either solely-self-interested or utterly uninformed about how governing works.  Anyone who cannot be bothered to read briefing notes or even be briefed and who makes decisions based on ever spoke to him last on a given issue or on a mere whim or something he saw on TV  is so supremely unfit for any office, much less President.  Much of the damage he is doing to your country and the world will never be undone.  There is simply no excuse for anyone with a brain, a conscience, or who is capable of thinking for themselves to support him any longer.

There are very wealthy people who support the Democrats. This would seem not to be in their economic self interest. There are very poor people who support the Republicans. This too would seem not be in their economic self interest.

We have room for people who are free to enjoy lots of different things and to have different opinions and likes and dislikes.  There are people who like Nascar and people who hate it. There are people who like ballet and people who hate it. I suppose there are people who like both Nascar and ballet, and people who dislike both.

But, everyone loves a good 1st growth with a ribeye [except, of course, vegetarians, vegans and pescatarians], and everyone likes his steaks rare or medium rare, except the President, who likes them well done with ketchup.
