The orange conman and his Donald J Trump Foundation turns out to be a fraud of what has been described as “ shocking pattern of illegality “ and an “unlawful coordination with the Trump presidential campaign.” What a shock! Trump and his family willfully breaking the law. Why I never...

We now have a sitting president and his family that have been banned from serving on any charitable or not for profit foundations. How very proud Napa and his ilk must be. 😎

New day, new set of pure lies from the orange dump.

Time and time again we have Trump saying he had no business dealings ongoing with Russia during his campaign as he at the same time was speaking well of Putin and the need to ease sanctions against Russia and the need for better relations with Putin. We even have the orange dumps current lawyer and spin doctor saying this past Sunday Trump never signed any paperwork for a potential building in Russia.

Oops, more lies on top of more lies. Trump did indeed sign a LOI during his campaign for the project, and details of his upfront cost were included, naming rights, development details and such were also included. Yet one more 100% lie and now two years of a cover up including this past Sunday when the execution of the LOI was denied. We now have the executed LOI with Trump’s signature.

Drip, drip, drip.

Enough of the drip, drip.  When is Mueller throwing down the hammer?!

ISIS has over 30,000 troops according to the pentagon. Trump didn’t discuss with his National Security Advisers, or the pentagon, or other nations involved in the fight. The GOP is up in arms, the orange dump said he would meet with Corker ( chairman of foreign relations) this afternoon then never showed up. The White House had no known reason why Trump was a no show.

Trump tells his own leadership and the world of this insane decision via a 16 word tweet. What a leader. The lying POS continues to do anything to change the narrative.

Read this theory on another forum.  Under normal circumstances, it would be easy to discount this as wildly spectacular conjecture.  But as we've known for well too long, nothing is normal when it comes to Putin's Bitch and his band of dummies:

Somebody here needs to report on the Mueller appeals court decision case.  An unnamed foreign company (that is state owned) was subpoenaed to turn over document to Muller’s team.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/12/18...ry-appeal/index.html

The theory is as follows: This unnamed company (supposed Russian Bank VEB - state owned and Putin sits on the Board of Directors) was going to fund Trump’s Moscow Tower, however it couldn’t because of the US sanctions Obama placed on them before leaving office.  So Trump would lift the sanctions in order to get his tower funded.  Kushner met with VEB’s chairman in NY, and also a man who pled guilty to spying for the Russian government posed as a VEB employee (VEB paid this man’s legal bills).  VEB also helped fund the Trump tower construction in Toronto, so the Trump’s have past history with this Russian “bank”.

To be clear, VEB is not actually a bank at all.  It’s not under the purview of Russia’s central bank, and — on its own website— says it does not compete with commercial credit institutions and participates only in those projects that cannot receive funding from private investors.  Instead, VEB says its mission is “to enhance the competitiveness of the Russian economy, diversify it and stimulate investment activity.”

I think this is exactly the type of illegal activity Mueller is chasing down.

It is rather obvious that the President knows nothing about the military, the war in Syria and so forth.   Why he thinks he knows more about this than the "generals on the ground" is just an example of the President's typical attitude.  I wish he would spend more time on the golf course and leave the government to the folks who have a clue.

We now learn that Mattis was told by the Turks that they would slaughter the Kurds our allies if America pulled out of the Middle East. Trump didn’t care about our allies fighting alongside our troops and told that to Mattis early this week.

Mattis clearly knew the pathological lying Dump. He wrote his letter, advised people and shared the letter prior to handing it to the Dump. First Dump said he is retiring which is a lie, now WH saying he was fired, yet one more lie. Mattis knew how the orange POS would react.

Thank you, Chief Justice!

Perhaps we have a new swing vote to replace Kennedy.

Not remotely IMO.  An extremely conservative justice albeit one who has some respect for precedent and some intellectual honesty unlike Alito, Gorsuch and and Thomas.  That he is being viewed as a swing vote shows just how dramatically the Court has moved to the right

He has clearly been the swing vote just like yesterday. Kennedy was too a very conservative judge, and in fact had an equal conservative rating as Roberts with one major exception, gay rights. Remove Kennedy’s correct view ( my opinion) on all things gay rights and he voted 23 out of 25 times with the extreme right judges over the past decades on major split vote issues.

Don’t forget Kennedy voted to overturn Obamacare and I’m not sure he would not have voted with the right yesterday based on his past. It was Roberts that saved Obamacare six years ago, not Kennedy. I guess my point is, “if” there is a swing vote, it will be Roberts as there seems to be a lock 4-4 vote almost guaranteed anymore all too often, IMO.

I always appreciate hearing your opinion, JC.

we should make it a panel of 19 supreme court judges.

If they're there for life, then they can be there arguing for life!

🙃... The Supreme Court with its lifetime appointments and with no reasoning of when one gets appointed is a curious branch of our government. Look at the last 7 presidential elections. The Democratic presidential candidate has won the popular vote in 6 of the last 7 elections, yet a democrat has only four current justices and with RBG’s health, it may very well be only 3 of 9 sooner than later.

From a Salon article:

Always impulsive, the president increasingly believes he does not need advisers, according to people close to him.  He is on his third chief of staff, third national security adviser, sixth communications director, second secretary of state, second attorney general and soon his second defense secretary.  Turnover at the top has reached 65 percent, according to the Brookings Institution.

Some left in a cloud of corruption allegations, including his health and human services secretary, his Environmental Protection Agency chief and, most recently, his interior secretary.  Others left after clashing with Mr. Trump.  Mr. Mattis was the last of the so-called axis of adults seen by some as tempering a volatile president, following the ouster of Rex W. Tillerson as secretary of state, H.R. McMaster as national security adviser and John F. Kelly as chief of staff.

Definitely the hall marks of a self-described "very stable genius".....
