I engage with maybe half of what Napa posts, not to try to change his mind because of course that won't happen, but to address falsehoods or misleading comments. I find it difficult to let BS stand unchallenged.

Also because I enjoy the give and take of political discussions, especially with those who see things differently than me. I do the same with some posts on Facebook from the Manning Centre and some of Warren Kinsella's posts. Better than living in an echo chamber where all I see are points of view that align with my own.

That makes sense if the repartee was with someone who had something useful, intelligent and/or thoughtful to say. Engaging in serious, factual debate is great, but that's not what happens with NC. Better to live in an echo chamber than to wallow in a pig sty.

As for not letting BS go unchallenged, I again say you're tilting at windmills. No matter what you say, the BS is still going unchallenged because he's not listening to anything you have to say.

And I say all of this with respect, bman. I know you and know your character.

I appreciate your reply SL, no worries!  But again I find it interesting to hear what the unhinged extremes - both unhinged extremes, for the record - have to say.

As for not letting BS go unchallenged, I expect that others who are open to persuasion lurk on this thread whether they post or not. So I do think challenging BS serves a purposes. Also, even if I wanted to let it go, I've never been the most self-disciplined person in the world!

it's okay to hear contrarian views.  I enjoy it, but that idiot from florida is just randomly ranting and copy and pasting random websites that don't attribute their sources, or even source at all.

I reply pretty much to formulate my thoughts regardless of what that individual bleats.  Also nice to read what folks across the country, other countries might differ.  Nuance is worth alot.

But SL is right, people tend not to talk with sheep.

As I said I'm done responding. It's not about trying to give truth to his right-wing-bubble "news" shows and online media' lies. The thing is, as I've said before, is he's a terrible debater and a muddled thinker. He bobs and weaves and sprinkles nonsense in response to actual facts. He plays flip with bigoted tropes and thinks it cute. So it gets tiring after a while. Also, as the president's actions get more and more dangerous, it's just plain icky to interact with people who have almost "deity-ized" this stain on, and threat to, our democracy.

PS, there's no such word as "alot."

To whom does he owe money?

I will not be sharing any more posts about the situation in Seattle. One of my co-workers was "asked" to resign very recently, or face discipline, for posts she made on her private Twitter account. I've just spent the last 15 minutes deleting posts here that could be construed as even questionably politically incorrect. Yeah, that's the world we now live in.

Really sorry to hear that

Great opportunity for our "Chosen One's" fans to show their true devotion to his holiness; attend the kick-off to the 2020 Trump victory march in Tulsa OK next week. Stick it to the libs by attending an event in a building that will hold 20,000 of your fellow cultists. Screw the lamestream media and their "science." Masks? You don't need no sticking masks!" Just sign the little waiver and leave your brains at the door.

Update: His highness has decided to move the event to Saturday, because, "Unfortunately, however, this would fall on the Juneteenth Holiday. Many of my African American friends and supporters have reached out to suggest that we consider changing the date out of respect for this Holiday, and in observance of this important occasion and all that it represents. I have therefore decided to move our rally to Saturday, June 20th, in order to honor their requests."

Yes, all six of them reached out to him. What a guy. Still be sure not to bring a mask if you don't want to be mocked.

Not bs.  True.  No orange complexion here

I’m very surprised. Wow.

Not that anyone including his wife would want to see the obese pumpkin without his shirt on, but can you imagine his tan line.  🤯.

The question was posed recently on a Zoom wine tasting... what is the over/under on how many cans of hairspray does the orange POS go through a week?

I heard that part of her renegotiated prenup was that she didn't have to see him naked more than once a month.

I think it is safe to say she hasn’t seen him without clothes is many years. She has her bedroom and he has his.

She knew she had him over a barrel at took advantage of it before heading to D.C.  Good for her... for every check he wrote to whores we know hers was much bigger!

I think it just shows again what a terrible businessman he is. He was beat hard by his own wife.

That’s not actually the village idiot. Someone else changed their handle to mimic him, but with a period at the end.

Actually it's weirder than that. He has two different accounts signed up for three years apart.

The dependable moron we've all come to know and the oddly spelled version whose name contains a space and then a period for some reason.
