As usual, your inability to read the top results of a simple search query of “is Massachusetts a sanctuary state” confirms once again that Gooners are morons:

https://www.nbcboston.com/news...tuary-state/2835474/

https://www.cbsnews.com/boston...ts-marthas-vineyard/

While the definition of “sanctuary state” could be debated, what is not debatable is your boneheaded contention that Martha’s Vineyard is a sanctuary city.  If DeathSantis wants to grift Florida taxpayers for the “benefit” of the asylum seekers, he could’ve chosen to have his overpriced coyote transport them to any of the 8 cities in MA that have declared themselves as sanctuary cities.

So you miss the point, or decide not to consider it, that the cities/ states involved are SANCTUARY STATES and should WELCOME migrants? Way to change the storyline, but I'm not surprised. Hypocrisy runs deep in both political parties.

I bolded where you mention the cities involved are sanctuary states.  Martha’s Vineyard has zero sanctuary status.

At least you’re realistic about the likelihood of ARSE remaining atop the table at the end of the campaign.  Will be interesting to see if they can maintain their form and qualify for a CL spot.

Forgot to mention that I rep the Blues.  KTBFFH!

What other “cities/states involved” would you be referring to besides MV?

Didn’t realize my edit went through.  Chelsea’s form thus far in both the PL and CL has been far from acceptable.  Started to support them when Shevchenko joined after the 2006 World Cup.  Of course, he was meh for the the Blues, but I stuck with them.  They’ve done better than alright since then.

TOT has a formidable front line.  Could very well be yet another year of you lot pining for St Totteringham’s day……

I like what Arsenal's done; especially giving Arteta a chance to build his squad. They are young and hopefully can only improve. I became a fan while working in London in the mid 90s. One of my colleagues took me to a match at Highbury and I became an instant fan. Arsenal4ever was the name of his webpage that he ran. He passed from cancer at 38, so I honor him.  I've seen about 10 matches in England, including one at Stamford Bridge.

Chicago, DC, and NYC I specifically mentioned, since their mayors were crying about needing federal money to offset the migrant costs and how their services were being affected.

Cheers

Martha's Vineyard was chosen specifically as a political stunt.  It's where the Clintons used to go when they were in the White House; it's where the Obamas went also.  It is where the Kennedy's would go.  An island where Democrats would flock for many years under Democratic administrations, and it's wealthy and thus considered as elitist and New England snobbish.

Maybe the next "freedom flight" will take some refugees to Nantucket, or Block Island, or Cuttyhunk, or maybe the Hamptons.

+1. Touching story. And I think your friend would love, and I have, what Arteta has done to the team. Go Arsenal go!

Not trying to start a major political discussion, but, like you, I’ve seen and heard lots of TV and radio ads relating to the upcoming elections.

I’ve seen some ads where Republicans say they are opposed to inflation and want to bring down prices.  Democratic ads say that they, too, are opposed to high prices and want to bring them down.

I have not yet seen or heard an ad where the politicians say that they are in favor of high prices or even higher prices.

It is certainly good that everyone agrees on this.  Prices are sure to plummet after the election.

Bipartisanship at its best!

Meanwhile, here in Canada, the Conservative opposition party has taken to referring to "Justinflation".  Very clever, given the name of our Prime Minister, even though they offer no credible policies for reducing what everyone else calls merely inflation.
