Trump goes on a totally unnecessary ride in his limousine to wave to supporters.
Dr. Leana Wen, who used to be the health commissioner of Baltimore and now is a professor at GW, and who knows a thing or two about medicine, has said that if the President were her patient and went on this escapade, she'd order a psychiatric exam.
Dr. James Phillips, an attending physician at Walter Reed:
“Every single person in the vehicle during that completely unnecessary presidential ‘drive-by’ just now has to be quarantined for 14 days. They might get sick. They may die.” "For political theater,” the doctor added. “Commanded by Trump to put their lives at risk for theater.”
Meanwhile, the President said he's learned alot about Covid-19 (really?) and that he "gets it". I'm so glad that after 7 months and 200,000+ deaths here that the President has learned about this, but it doesn't seem like his knowledge is particularly deep.
