I think one is not allowed to buy alcohol in say, Delaware or DC and transport it to Maryland so as to avoid our 9% tax on alcohol. Rarely enforced, so far as I know.

Yup, UMC in Broward. Rolled his eyes, told the guy - don't you have to show a substantial likelihood of success and announced he did not see it and making them set it for evidentiary hearing - as he should.

Other side had the b@lls to admit they were trying to come in ex parte and hoped we would not show (as they served the Motion/Notice by mail to the Defendant) a week ago.

I would say that Rum makes you mellow. Gin makes you reckless. I am unfortunately quite aware of the felonious tendencies resulting from tequila consumption.
