@irwin posted:Not trying to start a major political discussion, but, like you, I’ve seen and heard lots of TV and radio ads relating to the upcoming elections.
I’ve seen some ads where Republicans say they are opposed to inflation and want to bring down prices. Democratic ads say that they, too, are opposed to high prices and want to bring them down.
I have not yet seen or heard an ad where the politicians say that they are in favor of high prices or even higher prices.
It is certainly good that everyone agrees on this. Prices are sure to plummet after the election.
I'm waiting on concrete points of actions by the republicans.
I was concerned when my local politician sent me a message telling me they're gonna wait until mid january before thinking about what to do about all the issues everyone is complaining about.

Does that mean to not pick your nose after visiting a brothel?
I just found out about new effective meds for men's health - Generic Cialis. I'm about to try them as i have some problems with my stamina. Does somebody hear about them?
Now that the Midterms are finally over, I don't know how TV stations will survive the loss in revenue from no more TV political ads.
more ads for drugs to drive up drug prices
Enough of the “scan QR code” menu bullshit already - bring me a printed piece of f***ing paper!
was at a restaurant this past Monday in Boca Raton, FL. They don't take cash. They had a QR code on the table. You use that to pay. Times have changed, for sure.

Yuck
I do like it when the server comes with the hand held and takes the card at the table. More secure that allowing it out of sight.

Which Toronto wine geek crashed the LCBO website/apps by hitting refresh repeatedly in Chrome yesterday at 8:29am, before a limited release product went live at 8:30am?
As I recall, the Sunshine List (those making more than $100K annually) has at least 20 people in IT at the LCBO who make more than $100K annually. Not to mention the millions of dollars also spent on consulting firms... and the LCBO still can't prevent a security breach. I'd be laughing if we, the taxpayers, weren't paying for all of this incompetence.

Hopefully there is a price correction to 2013 prices when they reboot...
Former President Donald Trump won a golf tournament at his club in Florida despite being in North Carolina.

Seriously, this is on par with Kim Jong-Il claiming he scored 11 holes in one on his very first game of golf. Apparently Donald Trump is the all-time golf champion at all of this clubs, winning tournaments year after year.
Which makes me wonder: Has Donald Trump ever participated in a golf tournament at a club that he didn't own? If so, how'd he do? And also: Why would anyone else in his club bother playing in a tournament that they know is going to get thrown to the owner?

Is there any way his political modus operandi DOESN'T resemble Kim?
Trump cheats at everything else. Marriage, taxes, business. Why not cheat at golf?
One more bad decision, and I'll have the entire set.
His hole is 48" wide, rest of guys is 4 1/4".
I played well yesterday, shot a 35 [for 18 holes], but back today and made up for it. Today at Par after 14 holes, rest I didn't count.
One of my (least) favorite golf stories.
I am eating an apple
I need to order some food and start reading all those 20 pages which i received from the translating agency https://thewordpoint.com/langu...translation-services. Instead of doing it i sit on the sofa, read this forum and play different games. What is my diagnose?
I'm eating tofu

Just because it's a bad idea, doesn't mean it won't be fun.
