Well now I'm even more confused. Both list the same birthday and zip code. I don't like the guy but nobody should be impersonating another Forum member. It's simply not right.

Easy enough to look at the post history of "napacat ." and figure it out. All of the person's past posts will now have the "napacat ." monicker. Like the ones below:

But this begs the question: who is mrs parucci? She/he joined a few years before me and I don't recall much about her/him.

I thought it was already decided that the person with the fabulous cooking and taste buds was mimik

Last week I heard that a coworker who has been with us 14-15 years had “gotten into some trouble”. I haven’t seen him for close to a year. He worked in a facility about 12 miles from where I’m based, but when I was at that location we interacted pretty much every day. I even went for beers one-on-one with him once. Since I’ve been working from home over two months, I’ve been somewhat out of the loop with many I once worked closely with.

Apparently the “trouble” happened last Tuesday. He went to the workplace of a man his wife was having an affair with. At about 5 in the morning when the other guy showed up at his workplace, my former coworker stabbed him 20 times, killing him. After dragging his body to a drainage ditch, he then made his way to our company and clocked in by 6:00. Police arrested him that afternoon, and found bloody shoes and clothing in his work locker. Charged with 1st degree murder.

Talk about a mindf**k.

Wow. Sounds like a future Forensic Files or Dateline or 20/20 or 48 Hours.

Jeebus!  Reminds me of Chris Rock’s riff on OJ Simpson:

”I’m not saying he should’ve killed him.  But I understand......”

"Aunt Jemima Brand to Change Name and Image Over ‘Racial Stereotype’"

First they came for my Aunt (pronounced "aint") Jemima and then they'll come for my Uncle Ben. Actually it's been due for a long time, though I'll admit to a certain nostalgia. Does anyone remember Aunt Jemima Pancake Houses? The most famous one was at Disneyland until 1970 replete with actress Aylene Lewis greeting guests. When I was a teenager there actually was one in Skokie (!) Illinois complete with an Aunt as a greeter. Interesting to note that the woman on the original box was former slave Nancy Green who was hired in 1890 and eventually ran a pancake making display at the 1893 Chicago worlds fair.

The Onion ran this story as parody less than a week ago!  It ran it *before* this was announced!

Some positive news in a week where American unhappiness is at only 14%, the lowest since 1972. In ‘72 we had a politician that was a crook, in ‘20 we have a crook that is a conman.

The Supreme Court had a very good week supporting law. Law, something the POS in the Oval Office has never respected in private life or in public life.

Facebook removed ads by the Trump campaign for violating their “hate”policies.

The obese pumpkin is having such a tough time. The Supreme Court slapped his orange face telling him all people have equal rights, something he didn’t believe. Also tells him there is a law in place concerning DACA that he cannot overlook. Both IG and Facebook are growing tired of his fake news, lies and hate ads. Oh, while his head is in the sand the pandemic is spreading STILL like nowhere else in the world in new cases, newly hospitalized and deaths. Sounds like a fine time to fill an arena in a state and city that just reported their highest numbers.

All this and he must focus on having yet one more person that served in his cabinet say he is unfit for office, a crook and thug and what was it Pompeo said? Ah, “ he is full of shit!” 🤣

Or he can simply admit that he's a terrible boss who can't pick a staff who don't turn on him at some point. These were the "best people" until they weren't and their number is in the dozens. Why does he keep hiring, as he calls them, "losers"? I've never been a CEO but if you had turnover rates  at these high levels would you still have a job? And what kind of president tells the Chinese to keep building concentration camps? Camps he wishes he could build himself and put reporters in?

What a moronic post.  Just read Justice Thomas’s dissent.  He nailed their failure and incorrect decision on DACA.  That is a man that should be looked up to.  Courage and principle.  All justices basically said what Obama did was not constitutional.

You are entirely too pompous... and for no good reason.

irony is someone telling someone else to read when they themselves seem to have a reading problem.

To quote: ""We do not decide whether DACA or its rescission are sound policies," Roberts wrote. "The wisdom of those decisions is none of our concern. Here we address only whether the Administration complied with the procedural requirements in the law that insist on 'a reasoned explanation for its action.' "

But you know, I guess when you're too busy copy and pasting, you don't actually bother reading the transcript.

Was that in a cartoon book, so you could understand it? Surprised no Cut & Paste today.

Why do you insist on showing  your sheer ignorance over and over again? You wonder why when we on the forum get together for wine dinners we all LOL at your willful stupidity...

Clearly reading comprehension is something you don’t do well. No surprise. My post reflected what the Supreme Court ruled. There is a law in place and you can’t overlook the law like a petulant child. Roberts offered a roadmap and explained Dump’s lazy incompetence that was called arbitrary and capricious. 🤣 Roberts told Dump play within the law and a different outcome may be expected.

As for Thomas, let’s just say there is a reason Roberts is the Chief Justice and Thomas will never be seating in that chair.

Dude, favouring the reasoning of Thomas over Roberts is rarely wise.  How anyone could have an issue with Roberts' thoughtful, reasoned and nuanced reasons is beyond me.

"Any protesters, anarchists, agitators, looters or lowlifes who are going to Oklahoma please understand, you will not be treated like you have been in New York, Seattle, or Minneapolis. It will be a much different scene!” Guess who?

So protesting (a right Americans are given) is lumped in with rioting and looting? You may ask yourself how Trump supporters can be so brain dead. How they cannot see this charlatan for the conman and fraud he is? And how they can't see how incredibly dumb he is (Finland being a part of Russia is really only one of dozens of examples of his stupidity.) And yet they defend him no matter what. I think this recent example why it's pointless talking truth and logic to his disciples and gives you an example of how lost they are:

I have an acquaintance who has actually said Trump is his hero. (As I said I'm fortunate not to have any friends or family who support Trump.) We were discussing his response to the Coronavirus (which needless to say said he thought were handled perfectly. He then tried to slough off the harm Trump caused by suggesting people ingest household disinfectants by saying, "So one guy took him seriously and he got sick." When I pointed out it triggered thousands of calls to poison control agencies across the country, which I had to prove by pulling up articles from newspapers and other media sources. He of course was unaware of this because he gets he "news" from Fox "News." So now he's trapped, how can he save his hero's reputation? Brace yourself--it's because Democrats called all these poison control centers to make Trump look bad. That's right; they made thousands and thousands of phone calls in a concerted effort, all together, to make a person who suggested drinking Clorox look bad.

Now my acquaintance must be a real dummy right? He is 82, but the only sign of it is sometimes having very small memory issues (like who was in a movie from decades ago?; so not too bad.) He is a graduate of MIT. His PhD is from Cal Tech. He worked on the stealth bomber and is referenced in a major new book about it. He has a deep understanding of history, language, and literature. And yet he creates a conspiracy theory on the spot to deflect blame from Trump. There is no talking to these fanatics.

So my conclusion is if a Trump supporter isn't a racist or a bigot (and I think half of them as Hillary said fit that description) the rest somehow delude themselves to the horrors of this presidency.

Is he one of those people who think Trump was sent by God to save America from itself?

I do think some of us have been blessed with like-minded loved ones when it comes to important questions. If I were to list my 60+ closest family members and friends, I know 2-4 (out of over 60) voted for Romney but 0-1 voted for Trump. (A second-cousin’s husband is the one question mark.)  The flip side is all but 3 or 4 are skeptical of the Bernie wing and all are afraid of wokeness creep.  Ironically, for me, family and close friend get-togethers are often emotionally easy precisely because politics is not a controversial topic of conversation.  We can actually use politics to avoid other topics.
