Anybody else surprised at how little media attention Tara Reade has gotten compared to the Kavanaugh accuser?  Surprised that MeToo isn't all over it?

Blah, blah, blah. I've seen major articles about in LA Times, the New York Times, and CNN. The vice president has also addressed it but it wouldn't hurt if he does it again. However if you're bringing this up thinking it's going to hurt Biden, remember Trump is a self-confessed sexual abuser, with over a dozen accusers, yet 60 million Americans had no trouble voting for him. The choice between the two cannot be clearer, I hope even to you.

Update: Just saw another article on CNN. Now what do you think Fox News did with all the information about Trump's abuses? I sure in a "fair and balanced" manner--chucked it.

Just thought it was interesting that the media and MeToo spent hundreds of hours on the Kavanaugh issue and Biden's issue is barely mentioned. Maybe it will turn out to be a non-story.

Judge Kavanaugh was covered so much because he had hearings that, properly, went on for days. Then of course there would be news reports and commentary about it. Nothing unusual there in a major public hearing. Particularly one who is accused of sexual assault.  Whether proved or not, it is a big deal when it concerns a Supreme Court judge.

Your second point is a red herring. I've already given you three major, so-called liberal, news outlets and I'm sure Fox News is covering it plenty. In fact as I was typing this there was another live report on CNN. Since I already said this now twice I will not engage you further.

Mayo Clinic has a policy in place, mask required. Makes sense, well to most people. Jethro Bodine Pence defies the policy and says, “ I wanted to look people in the eye.” I have no doubt this dumbass POS wouldn’t know how to put it own and may very well cover his eyes. FU, Pence!

I think one can look people in the eye with a mask. But he's saying he wanted them to really see his sincerity I guess. So here I am thanking you and at the same time endangering you.

He is a total fraud and is intellectually bankrupt.

He stands before the world and promotes mask, six foot distancing and following the CDC guidelines. Yet, he follows none of this, none. Also, the CDC is saying over 90% of infected people didn’t to their knowledge come in contact with an infected person. Since people can be asymptomatic for 14 days all while spreading the virus, this idiot walks into a freaking hospital where there are critically ill people plus healthcare workers trying to save lives without a mask and zero knowledge if he is infected or not. What a POS!

I happened to come home early yesterday, and my wife was watching Ellen. I didn't pay much attention; she and her guests were all Skypeing (and drinking) from home, until they cut to Mark Wahlberg putzing around his house, shirtless, wearing a bbq apron. They asked what he was drinking, and he holds up a bottle with an instantly recognizable label. A 2012 Ch. Mouton Rothschild.  I thought, well that would certainly make isolation more bearable.

He can't afford to buy First Growths that are ready to drink?  Or he can afford so many First Growths that he doesn't care if it's too young?  Or he just doesn't know any better?

how the heck did you do that?

I'm going to the office every day, although not for as long as normal.  So I'm not in the house with little to do but eat!   I've started having a snack (nuts/cheese/trail mix) etc. mid-morning, a real meal anywhere between 2-4 PM, and then a little snack if I get hungry in the later part of the day. No junk.  Few sweets.  Also walking daily for at least 40 minutes.  The pounds just started coming off.

Let's see...Barr's hand-picked US Attorney recommends that the case against Flynn, who was awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to lying to Federal investigators, recommends to Barr that the case be dropped.

Nope. No conflict seen here.

Well, it invalidates the entire Special Counsel statute.  The Deputy AG, who was appointed by Trump, was the person who appointed the SC and signed off on his actions.  Flynn pleaded guilty.  The entire reason for a SC is to insulate the investigation from politics.  Once the SC's job had run its course the President's new AG made an expressly political decision -- we know it was, because the man had already pleaded guilty: a plea sought by the SC and signed off on *both* by the Trump appointee overseeing the SC as well as the Federal judge on the case and Flynn's own lawyers.  We might as well not have SCs if once the job is over the political appointees can then undo the jobs of the SC.

So much of what we have taken for granted is that our elected officials are not craven authoritarians looking for any possible way to subvert our system of checks and balances.  No one ever thought to spell out that once a SC's job is complete the President can't fire everyone and then appoint an AG who will refuse to abide the SC.  It was never in anyone's mindset that that needed to be said... perhaps partially because it was understood if a President were to try it he would be impeached and removed.  Boy, were we wrong.

I know you're just trolling us but only a Trumpanzee with no understanding of or respect for the basic institutions of democracy would celebrate such a shameless breach of the rule of law. Even just trolling us, you embarrass yourself. Again.  America is a global laughingstock and will suffer mightily in the future for it, thanks to people like you.

At this point with the ineptitude, lies, lack of humanity and empathy, pushing of non-scientific magic cures, the inciting of insurrection and all the other horrors we've seen come out of this Administration during this pandemic and the daily attacks on our democracy, I tell you this straight, you are an enemy of the United States if you vote for this man in November. Just as surely as Jefferson Davis was an enemy.

And no I will not be debating trolls. And for the record there's no such thing as the "Democrat" Party as this asshole (whose name I will not be typing again from this point on) knows.
