Even better:  Trump resigns thinking Pence pardons him, but Pence doesn't!

Doubtful though that any verdict would be reached before the next election.  I wonder if the Justice Department would allow any charges to be made public, much less allow a sitting President to even be charged.  Imagine if anything like that happened a few days or weeks out from election day?

... then Pence defeated just like Ford! 😎

Well, Pence added much to the reality WH shitshow today...

A manila envelope taped to a beige wall.

And say what you will about Nancy Pelosi, but she totally owned Trump yesterday.

Yep. Trump lost at his own game. He was completely exposed as being clueless.

He also once again lied his ass off again and again and even Homeland Security was clueless with his BS claims. A fake reality dump.

Oh boy anything for a joke on Wednesday

If that got him out of office today I’d be ok with it.

sorry but Pence is way worse ideologically speaking than Trump.

I don’t disagree but I’d rather have someone who actually believes in what he spews over the psychotic flip-flopper with the attention span of a crack baby and leadership ability of a roll of toilet paper. And trust me, I hate much of what Pence says he stands for.

In the traditional sense, yes. But these are not traditional times. Racism, xenophobia, disregard for the law and lowercase “l” liberal democractic norms, scapegoating, willful ignorance, desire to be a tyrant, and pure transactional thinking could reasonably be said to be the core of Trump’s ideology.  Which makes his ideology worse.

Went to a Keg last night for a holiday event.  As we were being seated, I noticed a tabkle with three bottles of LdH cubillo - the light bulb goes off and i know what i'm ordering.  Get the wine list and cant find it.  Speak to the waiter who explained that table brought it themselves.

"However, Sir, as I can see you are a man of refined tastes - may I re ccomend...." and he points to the Caymus Zin on the wine list.  Uhhh...nope... got anything with a bit more acidity?  "well... most certainly..."  and he points to the meimoi.

We got the guigal cotes du rhone.  Pretty sure the waiter was dissapointed in his clearly incorrect assesment of me as a 'man of refined tastes'.

My question is how you went to the Keg without your own bottle?! What a mistake to make!! ;-)

Oh, these wine fetchers drive me nuts! Too often their pompous and placating attitudes are LOL funny.

Just last week a wine fetcher hands me the wine list at a restaurant in Chicago and said, “ if you need any help with the wine list let me know.”  The freaking presumptive attitude just sets me off. I replied, “ is someone going to ask me if I need help with the dining menu as well?”  He looked puzzled.🙃

That actually makes some sense. Family probably the only ones who might be able to speak truth to him and the rest of the family infesting the place.

Except he's a candidate for the silver bracelets too. And now I'm seeing that even that clownish sycophant Chris Christie doesn't want the job either.

I hear you... but.  Consider that you are likely more wine savvy than 99.7% of the patrons at any venue that you visit  The offer of assistance, especially for a novice, might be appreciated.  I think the phrasing the Somm used could use some polish.   Something to the tune of, "If you have any questions, or if I can be of any service it would be my pleasure."  I've had reasonably good experiences with Somms of late.  Now, that "wine-fetcher," at Charlie Palmer came reasonably close to an ass kicking in November, but he came around with a little massaging.

Especially after you stood up to him and then we shared our wine with him! I'm pretty sure I heard him purring then.....

A “ if you have any questions please let me know” is very different. A fair question with the dining menu as well.

To makes matters worse, they didn’t have the Corton Charlemagne OR the Chablis I ordered. Grrr. The wine fetcher suggested a couple of Meursault wines. While I openly acknowledge Meursault has finally started toning down their oak and butter style of wine, I replied if that was the style I was looking for, I think Cali does it better. 🙃

I ended up finding a nice Beaujolais Blanc and another Chardonnay from Friuli Venezia Giulia that worked well.

I expect that 2019 will be only worse for Putin's Bitch, as the indictments strike closer and start confirming the crimes of his innermost circle.  The collateral damage from the resulting verbal diarrhea spewed by PB will unfortunately affect all of us.  He will continue to flap his jaws on Twitter, to the press and to world leaders, and the negative ramifications to our economy and world standing will hit our pocketbooks and overall collective safety.

It's unbelievable that we have someone in the Oval Office that has "getting reelected" as their primary defense to avoiding prosecution for campaign finance violations........

How great was it that it was Pelosi, who the pussy-grabber in chief and the Repubs used as the bogeywoman in their losing 2018 election, who showed what a nincompoop the racist in chief is? And yet a third of the country (and Napacat) somehow incomprehensibly still support this weak (he's afraid to even fire people in person) man/child.

Many of the "old guard" of the GOP (Grabbers of Pu___s) party are affronted by women with either brains or guts.  I'm not a Nancy fancier, but she has experience and serious chops when it comes to maneuvering through our system.  The vision of him running out of the office and flinging his briefing papers across the room is delicious.  The time for his bluster and bravado is rapidly coming to a deserved end.  January 3 brings us all some balance.  Overdue.
