I'd like to attend if it's in NYC.

I'm in NYC on the 25th with a friend for a tasting in the afternoon. Plans for Sat evening are indefinite. We could be in if it's NYC. Will be staying downtown somewhere. Tasting is at Italian Wine Merchants on East 16th St.

Different Dave, I'd love to see you (been awhile and share some vino), but I can't make it out to Long Island. I'm game for a NYC location.

Perhaps we can do this event in NYC so the other three who expressed interest can attend. and I can host g-man and the g-man family another day/weekend at my place.
I will work on a venue with Peking duck house as a fall back just in case location. Updates forthcoming. Looking forward to seeing/meeting everyone. VinCentric are you going to be solo or with others Saturday night?

My status for Saturday is tbd. My friend's son who lives in Boston arranged the weekend. I'm pretty sure we're doing a group dinner Friday with about 6 of us. The tasting is Saturday afternoon, which may leave my friend and I available for this dinner. I did mention the possibility of getting together with the NYC cru to my buddy. I'm waiting to hear back what his son et al had in mind, if anything, for Saturday night. Hope to know within a few days. It would be good to meet some of the NYC cru. I'll be staying at 53rd & 3rd in Manhattan.

Peking Duck House is just around the corner!

Am in the process of confirming plans with the rest of my travel party and it's looking good for Saturday evening, NYC. Should know in a day or two.

Interested but...is this event is on LI @ different daves or @ peking duck in Manhattan

Focus, my understanding was that differentdave will arrange something in the city. Peking Duck House is a possibility. I don't think it's been determined yet.

All this talk of Peking Duck- I could potentially be talked into this one if there is room

Just to confirm this event will be in NYC not my house. More than likely at Peking Duck house as it has served us so well in the past.

I will have a second event at my house for g-man and the g-crew on a another day. If any of you want to attend that event as well we can discuss on the 25th.

Our plans are fleshing out (grammar ok?) along the lines I planned so my friend and I are in for NYC dinner Saturday night. I'll be at my cousin's at 53rd & 3rd, and my friend will be at a hotel somewhere between there and the Italian Wine Merchants (108 East 16th Street). Peking Duck House works for us, but we're flexible so any place you pick that's accessible, differentdave, is good with us. Looking forward to finally meeting some of the NYC cru!
