Deep aromas of dark fruits, licorice, and a floral note introduce a medium bodied wine, where the aforementioned flavors are subtle enough to highlight and complement fresh acidity and a pleasingly clean finish. A fine food wine that well accompanied grilled burgers topped with cheddar and caramelized onions. At about $17, this tradionally styled chianti offers great QPR, and is a candidate for my house CC. I’ll give it 88+ points
