A fishing trip last weekend with no news or internet meant I missed the passing of Roky Erickson, leader of The Thirteenth Floor Elevators on May 31 at 71.

Where did you go fishing?
Rouge-Matawin. Fishing wasn't bad but the weather wasn't great. Cold and mostly wet. On the bright side there were no bugs. There are more in my backyard.
