Bummer. Good run at 87 though.
I remember the first time I heard him sing. I was sure someone was doing a voiceover.
RIP

As a long time IndyCar fan, his rendition was a tradition on that morning in late May every year before the 500. Not the same without him. RIP

I didn’t know he was still alive.
RIP Vince Scully. One of my favorite memories as a kid was listening to him and Joe G call a MLB game.

Wow big bummer! They started out in my college town during my college days and played fraternity basement parties a couple times. We're also regulars with many shows at the Court Tavern. RIP Pat
Tommy Nobis, perhaps the best linebacker to ever put on the burnt orange and white. Here’s a Hook’Em for you Tommy! RIP
Bruce Brown, legendary surf documentarian, producer/director of The Endless Summer fame and many more. If you've never seen the Endless Summer, his easy going nature and smooth one liners will not disappoint, especially if you're into travel.
Nobis was an old school LB, a sideline to sideline tackling machine. He was the heart and soul of the Falcon defense. Loved watching him play.
Keely Smith, the queen of deadpan singers. For another great deadpan singer check out Virginia O'Brien in the Marx Brothers' movie The Big Store.
