Funny you mentioned that. I just ate at the Saratoga Springs house of blues and the bacon was definitely not what I'm used to from Chicago. Also the fact that there are no black people in upstate new York makes the whole experience a little funny. Red Face

There's a "unique" HOB with a Gospel Brunch about 25 miles from here. You can also get an "out of the ordinary" experience at these locations:

House of Blues Anaheim
House of Blues Atlantic City
House of Blues Boston
House of Blues Chicago
House of Blues Cleveland
House of Blues Dallas
House of Blues Houston
House of Blues Las Vegas
House of Blues Myrtle Beach
House of Blues New Orleans
House of Blues Orlando
House of Blues San Diego
House of Blues Sunset Strip

For God's sake you live in one of the great restaurant cities in the US and one of the great cities in the world. Certainly you can find an eating experience unique to Chicago.

Well, I thought the Gospel Brunch at HOB was pretty unique and fun when we took Stef Wine there several years ago, but I guess I don't get around as much as Mr. Cab, who thankfully is the watchdog of singularity.

IW: my favorite breakfast place in Chicago is Wishbone (near Oprah's studio). It's not a brunch, just great breakfast food.

Grossie: Saratoga HOB bacon is indeed unique, as it is traditionally made from the last place finishers in yesterday's claiming races.

Cheers,

Otis

There is no HOB where IW is located, so it would be unique for HIM. This is not about Otis or anyone living in Chicago, but about someone (IW) having an experience he doesn't have at home. Do YOU have a positive suggestion to make, or do you prefer the negative approach?

On topic: Reza is average, at best, as others have said.
