Veterans day here and same feelings abound.

+1 and a special thanks to Gunner Goldman (my uncle) for his patriotism and for defending all of us. Live long and prosper. I can listen to his stories forever and a day.

Just attended my childrens School Remembrance Assembly...chokes me up every year. We have alot to be thankful for.

Also reading "Where Men Win Glory" about Pat Tillman. What a patriot.

God bless all who have fallen and those who continue to serve.

We stopped everything we were doing this morning at 11 to watch coverage of the Remembrance Day ceremonies from Ottawa. Really touching and always chokes us up.

Now for the rest of the day, I'm watching a Band of Brothers marathon.

Next year for the Canadian content, I'll watch Passchendaele.

I pulled into Fredericton NB today and just missed the Remembrance Day Parade. I'm told it was quite the deal. The City (Province) is pretty well shut down for Remembrance Day. Our boys and girls are the best, and many of them come from the East coast.
