Into season 2 of The Leftovers. A bingeable show if you are in the mood to binge. Season 2 is better than Season 1 so far (after 1st 4 episodes). There is better stuff out there, but I am interested to see where this is going. Lindelof (Lost) produces & writes (along with book author Perrotta). I enjoyed Lost and this has some similar influences/feel, but the final season 3 just finished up on HBO so I am not sure they will get to a satisfying conclusion. Can move rather slowly, but has good character building with decent acting sprinkled in.

Update: Just finished season two- so much better than season one. If you're a Lost fan, watch.

Doctor Who Season finale - how I will miss you Peter Capaldi

No spoilers please!

And you will get him one more time on the Christmas show, no?

Correct on Christmas as far as I am aware and no spoilers - widely known this was his last season - great episodes though

I'm 4 episodes behind and probably won't catch up for a while. Happy to have discovered another Whovian!

Watched the first episode of Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale last night. Harrowing, disturbing and riveting viewing. Elizabeth Moss gives such a subtle, nuanced performance. This is the kind of adult filmmaking that you just don't get in theatres these days.

Somethings are just too hard to watch; couldn't bring myself to watch the second episode.

Binged Season 3 of Bosch this weekend - very enjoyable

Just finished season one. I know I am late to the game, but I liked it. Will be watching the other two seasons.
Not sure what the definition of "binge watching" is, but I can't watch more than 2 shows at a time.

We watched episodes 4-10 over the weekend. That meets my definition

Isn't this the last season? That's what I had heard. I guess I was hoping for some conclusion to the several story threads. I've not watched season 5 yet, just finishing season 4 on Amazon Prime.

Season 6 will be the final one - airing next spring.

My feelings exactly. Watched episode 1 of sinner last night on demand and has potential. I love Jessica Biel. Starting Bosch tonight. #slowtvsummer

I've just started watching old episodes of Magnum, P.I.. What a great show that was, with excellent characters. The interplay between Magnum and Higgins is what made this show so great, along with Magnum's "everyman", down-to-earth character.

Did you see the sunrise this morning?

OMG. Best...line...ever! Cool
The 100: Several months ago, I watched an episode, bailed out on it, then met a cosplaying kid at our local Gen Con event who was dressed as a show character, who told me "stick with it," so I did, and am really enjoying it. The script isn't amazing, but it's well acted and edited, and all of the storylines are winners. Worth a look if you like the post-apocalyptic survivor genre. It really finds its legs about halfway through season one.

Ken Burns' new documentary, The Vietnam War kicks off tomorrow night. I have the DVR set. Anyone else going to watch? It's received some pretty rave reviews so far.

I've been looking forward to this and plan on watching over time via on-demand. Any initial thoughts?

Thus far, excellent IMO.
