DO NOT miss series 3 of Torchwood when BBC Americas goes HD next week. They are also showing the Dr Who special Planet Of The Dead.

I need to brush up and spend a little time with my Analrapist before the CDP. I tried Philadelphia and just didn't get into it. But, probably didn't give it enough time.I've lately been hooked on The Wire. Started last month, and am midway through season Four now. Best drama I've ever seen. When I finish Season Five, I'm cueing it right back up at 1/1 again.
I love Arrested Development as well. I have them all on DVD and have been thinking of watching them all again as of late.
Right now we are finishing up season 1 of Mad Men and waiting for season 2 to come out on DVD next week. We hope to be caught up in time for the season 3 premier next month. The show is fantastic for anyone who has not seen it.

I wish The West Wing was still on the air. Brilliant writing and acting - the cast really had chemistry. The same writing team sure flopped with Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, though.
I'm all about Mad Men now (wait, that didn't sound right...) and still love Top Chef.

Has anyone heard the latest on this? There have been rumors back and forth about it for years and I have been hoping it would work out. But, I have somewhat thought that it might be best to leave that show as the treasure that it is and just move on, though, too.

All time favorite shows are not very surprising, The Wire and Seinfeld. I watched the entire series of The Wire over the span of 3 weeks. I couldn’t stop. I think I’ll enjoy watching Seinfeld reruns forever.

As far as cancelled shows, the network suits are just as clueless as ever. To AD, add Pushing Daisies and Eli Stone this year. While not on the same level, they were different enough to be interesting, and something I could watch with the family.

I've been watching Trailer Park Boys, lately. It takes a while to warm up to it, but it's pretty darn funny. Bubbles is a funny character (figurative and literally.)

I thought that Giraldo was great, and Gilbert Gottfried was hilarious. Don Rickles always makes me laugh as well.

I too was a huge fan of The West Wing. Really awesome scripts and acting. You had to actually pay attention to the show to keep up with the plots. Last year when Hillary and Barack were dueling in the primaries I watched all 7 seasons on DVDs. It's very interesting to see how similar the Santos presidential campaigns of the West Wing was to real life.
I just started Mad Men, season 1. Enjoyable.
One episode left in season 2 of Mad Men and then we are ready for tomorrow night's season 3 premiere. Season 2 definitely was a bit less entertaining in the beginning than the first season, but it picked up in the latter half (seems like all shows do this).
My friend is a Joss Weedon nut and turned me onto Dollhouse. The show is fantastic. It just got picked up for its 2nd season.
Another show that got cut that I loved was Boomtown. It only lasted 1+ Season.

My co-worker thinks Weedon is a goldenboy, too. I've never understood the appeal. I've been a sci-fi nut ever since I was a kid, but neither Firefly nor Dollhouse could hold my interest. Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-Long Blog was pretty good, though.

YES!!! Damn Abrams! This, and TUF Heavyweights are the only two shows I'm DVRing currently (My wife DVRs Mad Men though).

I am a huge Simpson's fan. The new stuff isn't that great, but the first 9 seasons or so were glorious.
My wife and have really been enjoying Flight of the Conchords. I also enjoy Top Chef and Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which is hilarious. I hate to admit it, but I enjoy How I Met Your Mother. Without Barney though, that show would suck.
