I was down there in April and can heartily recommend two places in old town.
Joe Jack's Fish Shack--you have got to try the cerviche platter. Best I've ever had!

Brazil Steak House--run by a wonderful gentleman who waived corkage when I brought in a magnum of Sandhill. HUGE meal followed by a glass of top shelf tequila for $19. Big Grin
grunhauser: That's it, exactly. The view from Barcelona Tapas is wonderful. When I was there a couple years ago they did not accept credit cards.

A word about Los Xitomates. We met the chef/owner. The food was Mexican, but not at all tex-mex. It was described as High Mexican cuisine. The chef was a native of P.V., but trained in Alsace and in Austria, and was a really nice chap.
