It's been a while, but we loved the place. Food and service were excellent, tables well-spaced, and wine list well-selected and very fairly priced.
We were particularly impressed by Fringale. Excellent confit and wine list.

Have not been for over a year, but I give it an enthusiastic thumbs up at the time, both for food and an excellent wine list that was well priced for a nice restaurant. No reason to do a BYOB here (at least then).
The wife & I entertained clients about 2 years ago @ PJ Cafe in SF. I was thrilled with not only the service & food quality, but the wine list prices were ~15-20% over retail. The list was deep, and all stored appropriately. I would definitely recommend.
