I am hosting a pink/red champagne holiday party and am seeking suggestions for pink or red champagnes/sparkling wines to serve. I'd like to start with a light, nice white champagne to sip while guest arrive and until the pink/red tasting starts. For the tasting, I need about 5 different bottles for the expected 12-15 tasters.

Suggestions?

I'd start with a Blanc de Blanc...like the '98 Duval-Leroy Blanc de Chardonnay.

The following are some of my favorite rosé sparklers in approximate ascending price order.

~ Rotari Rosé (Italy)
~ Gruet Rosé (New Mexico)
~ Taltarni Brut Taché (Australia / Tasmania)
~ Roederer Estate Rosé (California)
~ Nicolas Feuillatte Rosé (Champagne)
~ Billecart-Salmon Rosé (Champagne)
~ Laurent Perrier Rosé (Champagne)
Thanks everyone! I will print these suggestions and take them to the wine store with me!

The favorites at the party last year were a Nicolas Feuillatte and a Leclerc. The Banfi red sparkling tasted like cough syrup, and the sparkling Australian shiraz was equally bad. I am trying to get my hands on some Moldovan sparkling red(Cricova) and cannot locate it. Further suggestions?
