One from Wein & Co by the glass:

This is textbook nebbiolo. Already a bit bricking on the rim. Very fine and intense aromas of tar and dried fruit. On the palate the fruit is still a bit eclipsed by massive but ripe tannins and the substantial acidity and all leads into a long finish - this is an ager for sure. Try again in 2009. 93 points (WS 93). W&C however tries to gouge on this one: €72!

I must have been a root louse in a past life....

I "knew" this would be one of those Wein&Co BTG tastings because it sounds awfully expensive as well as premature. Not that I'm keeping my single 98 Barolo for after Xmas or anything like that... Big Grin

I had a hard time avoiding the term...Glad to see you are no good at verbal restraint...just like I'm rather poor at keeping the corkscrew under control... Big Grin Big Grin
