I have never had this wine, but I know that it's Rhone-style on steroids.
I think a rich cheese would work well, such as double (or even triple) cream Brie, Etorki, Galette. An aged (5+ years) white Cheddar would probably be good too. There are quite a few other cheeses that accompany big whites quite nicely.
We drank the Hoodoo Man with a very simple crab salad (light on anything creamy) served in endive leaves. As the wine opened up the food became secondary, though the balance of acid and otherworldly fruit in the wine cut through the crab without overpowering it.
