If you google Cabbages and Condoms (famous Bangkok restaurant where all profits go to birth control projects) I believe you will find what you seek. They used to have recipes at least.
I really want to like this dish, but I have yet to try one that didn't taste like dirty feet.

Lately, with Thai and Indian food, given the number of hard-to-source and not-often-used ingredients required to do it right, I find most often that when I'm in the mood for either of these cuisines I always make the same thing. Reservations.

Can't believe you mentioned this. Last time my wife and I were in Thailand, 04 I think, we came across this restaurant. I saw the billboard on the side of the rural road and went WTF??? Had no idea what it was about. Got a picture, but we didn't eat there.

We've eaten there a couple of times, but not since 99 or so. It was a much smaller operation the first time we were there, in the early 90s I think, then grew into a more substantial operation as word spread of their good food and good deeds. I bought a bunch of condom bouquets as I recall.
