Bought their 2012 & 2013 cabs (estate & reserve). Only estate 2014 - 2016. Still cellaring all of them. Any thoughts on ability to age? Prime drinking window?
I would look for at least 10 years. Had a taste of these, and feel more age would be good.
Ten years from vintage? I've been experimenting with older cabernet - 2000 to 2002 - retail purchases. Haven't been disappointed yet with Merryvale, Elizabeth Spencer and Dalla Valle.
Had a few 02 DV and they were all stunning
Odette wines are immensely pleasurable young. Had a 13 and 14 recently and both were simply delicious. At ten years imagine they may be even better...longer who knows, but I tend to err on the side of a bit younger than a bit older.
If you have multiple bottles try the 12 or 13 soon. You will surely enjoy!
