Just enjoying it now. It has nice depth to it, and also a touch of that burnt rubber thing, but in a good way. I still have two more after this - waiting for your next "young n' old Beaujolais" dinner.

I had a Keplinger Basilisk on Saturday. I love what she does with grenache. Packs a nice punch, but it is really well balanced. Hopefully I can keep my hands of a few of them for another 7-10 years, and see how they develop.

A very good Sicilian Nero d'Avola. Perfumed berries, a little ash, great minerality and zingy acidity.

Was excellent with an hour in the decanter and our shellfish platter.

We will order different wines for our étouffée.

2008 2027 Cellars Falls Vineyard (Niagara). I do like Kevin's style.
