6 bottles of 2006 Beaux Freres The Upper Terrace @ $75.00 ea. + tax & shipping.
(The printed offering says that those prices represent a 10-20% savings vs. retail on the 750s only. I didn't check the prices, but if true is a great incentive to buy futures through the winery.)

Have you tasted this recently?quote:2x 1996 Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Rose Cuvee Palmes d'Or
As for me, I'll be buying much more wine going forward than I did this past year. Husband just gave up flying helicopters for riding motorcycles.

Good news I'll have tons more money for vino.

No, but perhaps tonight. Have you? Did I make a poor choice?
I have always found this wine to be a grand aperitif. The weight and feel are light yet full in style, and very pleasing.

We shared a bottle of this in Philly this year.
Picked up at the local shop after the Barnes Foundation jaunt.

Psst ... skoshy - there's a thread with my note from Philly in the TNs area.

wine+art, I had picked up a bottle a few months ago. Unfortunately, it was flawed.
Hope you do end up enjoying it tonight. I very much look forward to your impressions, and then may well try and find some.
PH - Doh!

If only those ba$tards would stop running off with my tasting notes...
Back to thread drift...he went out only to look at leathers, gear, etc. & bought a bike. Arrgh.

And what makes you think it ever made it down to my end of the table?
Since you are the Tsar of the Saturday night tasting... we need two bottles each of our Champagnes also for the large group.
I have a few thoughts for our pre-game next year as the self-appointed Tsar for Friday night.

Skoshy+leather+gear could = trouble.

I did actually return the Champagne (to the Inwood & Beltline store). They were lovely about taking it back.
"...And what makes you think it ever made it down to my end of the table?..." Good point!
That is now my excuse for why I didn't recall having had it...

I look forward to what each of our "Tsars" may be plotting...
Off to dinner. Cheers!
