These were from Mr. Wright at Third Avenue and around 89th Street or so, a store that will play The Grateful Dead channel on their Sirius radio while you browse the wines (if you ask them).

For that price they better have over the top customer service. Eek Even Zachy's has it for less than $150, and I found mine for $114.
3 2005 Stefania Uvas Creek Vineyard Cab
Looking to buy some Fess Parker Pinot and Voss SB.

4 bottles of 2005 Blackbird Proprietory Red.

I dropped another wine club to give this one a try. The Prop. Red is 96% Merlot and 4% Cab. Sauv. They also have a Paramour Prop. Red which is 50% Cab Franc and 50% Merlot.

They will have a 3rd blend coming out soon. They seem different, and that is what I was looking for.

I will open 1 bottle as soon as it arrives and will give tasting notes. From I have heard, it is a more backward wine and Pomerol inspired. Should be interesting.
[I find lots of spice in many Italian wines, Erin S. See my tasting note for Nero di Vite that I opened last night for an example.]

Just bought:
1975 Marques de Caceres Rioja Gran Reserva (library release)
1978 Marques de Caceres Rioja Gran Reserva (library release)
2001 Marques de Caceres Rioja Reserva

and later today:
2003 Michele Castellani "San Michele" Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso

I've had the last two - both delicious, and I'm pretty excited about the first two - old vintages in perfect condition from my favorite Rioja producer.
