For that price they better have over the top customer service. Even Zachy's has it for less than $150, and I found mine for $114.

Didn't buy anything, but DnVsMom came home from work yesterday with eighteen cases of wine, including:

All of the new Rosemount Show Reserve wines.
A bunch of Beringer Third Century.
'04 Beringer Cabernet Private Reserve x6
'05 Beringer Chardonnay Private Reserve x12

4 bottles of 2005 Blackbird Proprietory Red.

I dropped another wine club to give this one a try. The Prop. Red is 96% Merlot and 4% Cab. Sauv. They also have a Paramour Prop. Red which is 50% Cab Franc and 50% Merlot.

They will have a 3rd blend coming out soon. They seem different, and that is what I was looking for.

I will open 1 bottle as soon as it arrives and will give tasting notes. From I have heard, it is a more backward wine and Pomerol inspired. Should be interesting.

This may sound like an odd question, but does anyone know of any spicy/nutmeg type wines?

[I find lots of spice in many Italian wines, Erin S. See my tasting note for Nero di Vite that I opened last night for an example.]

Very nice price, especially for Canada. SAQ sells the Finca Dofi for $83. You're paying U.S. prices at that mark.
Finca Dofi is one of my favorite wines, in ANY vintage. A smooth, classy wine.

Dofi still in the $50's here before discount.

Bought some 2004 Cheateau St Michelle Indian Wells Cabernet yesterday on sale for $13. Will try tonight with Shepards Pie for dinner. I have never made it before but I remember my mom making it when I was a kid.
