NYC - Late Night Bites

While not close to MSG, a cab ride to Wo-Hop at 15 and 17 Mott St will take you to amazing Cantonese at very modest prices.

The Rattle n Hum on 39th (and 8th Ave) has around 40 beers on tap plus your typical pub grub menu (which I have not tried). Website says they close at 4 am. You may want to confirm if they also serve their dinner menu after 11. Sometimes the kitchens close before the bar does.

Adding Katz Deli in the lower eastside is open until 2:45 am.

I've hit Blue Ribbon numerous times very late. It's tired but also amazing what they can produce when everyone is asleep.

Every time I've been to PDT, I've left disappointed. Cocktails just weren't that special, staff wasn't very friendly, etc. I much prefer Employees Only.

they're fantastic if you hit them early and can get the relationship/convo with teh bartender.

What about good roof top bars that aren't populated with a bunch of 20 something year olds and EDM?

I really liked Bookmarks at the Library Hotel (Midtown) Not a high building so no huge sweeping views. But go early for a drink and it isn't packed.

The Peninsula - never been but looks nice.

PDT I like but it's not on my top list anymore. My favorite cocktail places are Death & Co and The Dead Rabbit (upstairs).

Also Attaboy, Raines Law Room, Dear Irving, Pouring Ribbons, Employees Only, and Mayahuel are great.

The Press Lounge - the rooftop bar at Ink48 Hotel. Much less rowdy crowd. Probably the best views of NYC IMHO. Plus the restaurant there called Print is very good and does corkage. I think that would be up your alley.

Attaboy is the other place I was trying to think of. That's the one the old Milk & Honey bartenders started, correct?
Dead Rabbit is pretty awesome as well. Death & Co I thought was good, but didn't blow my skirt up. Solid cocktails though.
