The Socre was disappointing. All the others were very good to excellent.

I bought the Christins because I needed some cooking wine, but I wanted to try it too. I did end up adding a little to what I was making. Excellent QPR.

2013 Bevan Cellars Pinot Noir Rita's Crown Sta. Rita Hills

2002 Quilceda Creek Cab- in the past, I've been unable to understand how Parker could score this wine 100. It's been dense and tannic with the fruit dominated by the rough backbone. Well, this is finally emerging from the dark ages and is a rich, deeply flavored Cab with moderate tannins that is likely still improving. First time I've ever used this word for a Quilceda Creek wine- wonderful, 96+

I agree with this. I had this with Latour67 a few months ago and was stunned at how well this opened up since the last time I had it. Completely different wine now.

Merus 2006 Cabernet

a little hot at first but good depth and viscous mouthfeel...licorice, dark plum

2012 2027 Cellars Queenston Road Vineyard Sparkling wine. Nice Pinot-Chard blend from Niagara.

1997 Ridge Geyserville Zinfandel. Absolutely wonderful wine. Love how the Ridge wines age. The nose alone is worth the price of admission.

NV Nyquil

Both nose and palette are extremely hot...makes those big Paso wines look tame. Not recommended, but I will say that I slept quite well.

The Boillot was WOTN by a fair margin, even though all wines showed VERY well.

Yeah, that was a great night. The Boillot was a stunner, but agree that all the wines were excellent.
