The Wine Spectator will rate non-vintage sparkling wines periodically. Today in the Daily Picks they feature Gloria Ferrer Blanc de Blancs Carneros NV, 90 points, $22.00. My question as it is NV, when you purchase how can you tell it is the same wine that was just reviewed. What if it is from a previous year? Is there any notation on the labels as to when it was produced? You never know how long some stores may keep their inventory.
