Traveling with 4 kids this summer and looking for a nice place to stay preferably close to the beach with good BYOB and nicer restaurant options. Thanks!

I’m a little confused. Beach = Atlantic Ocean, not near a large lake, correct? And are you planning on going swimming in the ocean? My favorite area on the New England coast is easily Bar Harbor, Maine, but the ocean is a bit cold that far north. If swimming in a lake will do, it has been decades, but I used to stay at the Mirror Lake Inn in the Adirondacks near Lake Placid. It was wonderful and still enjoys a very good reputation.
Thanks.
Either lake or ocean will do. Still in the early planning stages. I'll explore Mirror Lake Inn.
If I had my choice of anywhere in New England, I'd go out to Martha's Vineyard. The beaches are wonderful and the water is warmer. The towns are all picture perfect.
