In your situation, I would ask the seller which of the two had more limited availability, and get that one. That way, there's a better chance that the other wine might still be in stock next time you're ready for another $90 purchase.
If that doesn't help, know that Parker rated the Lail one point higher than the Pahlmeyer.

I have been very impressed by the richness of the Pahlmeyer; but I have never tasted the Lail. So, I'll agree with mattach, buy them both. If you can't swing it, then I would say default to the Pahlmeyer, its a knock out now!
Just to confuse the issue, I vote for the Lail. I absolutely love their wines.

The only Lail I've had is the Blueprint, and I wasn't overly impressed (perhaps because it had been built up too much by someone else). I'd say go with the Pahlmeyer. I've never had one I didn't like!
The Lail seems a bit pricey. I thought the Daniel was in the $50 range, not in the rarified $90 range.
