we stayed and ate dinner at a place called "Romantic River Song" bed and breakfast. I don't know for sure if they serve dinner to folks who are not staying there, but you can find out obviously. The dinner was quite good. I think that they did permit you to BYOB, but it was about 3 yrs back and I could be wrong.

I do remember standing by the window inside the cabin talking on my cellphone to my secretary back home when an elk walked past me.
GrubSteak has awesome burgers. Each one on the menu can be made with beef, buffalo, or venison. Poppy's does pizza that draws people up from Denver. The Egg and I is a good little homestyle breakfast place. It's a chain restaurant but they have a good food on the cheap. Estes Park really isn't known for their culinary delights.
