He was unconscious.

All the momentum on GSW's side now. I'm sure Westbrook and crew will give it their all but it will be very difficult to win Game 7 in Oakland.

I believe I heard Marv Albert say that of the 125 7th games in NBA playoffs history, 124 of them have been won by the home team? Could that possibly be true?

I don't think Kyrie is really all that interested in guarding anyone, ever. I love his talent but he is frustrating to watch at times because he gives very inconsistent effort.

Klay was great last night. Durant was really forcing it in the first half and didn't play his game.

There have been 124 game 7s. The home team is 100-24. This will be the 125th game 7.

That makes a lot more sense.
Terrific effort by the Warriors last night. As much as I hate Curry, he and Klay put on another great performance last night.

Should be a terrific series against a full strength Cavalier team.

Will be interesting to see if the refs let Draymond continue his thuggish ways, or if the league steps in. I could see him and Tristan Thompson getting locked up a few times in this series.

He went for the straight Ricky Steamboat arm drag takedown. You gotta be careful when you try that on a larger guy. If he doesn't clear your hips he's landing right on top of you. On the way down it looks like Adams grabbed Draymond's head and went for the Jake the Snake DDT. No sympathy for Adams however, he's very dirty I watched him go at Demarcus Cousins' knee on consecutive occasions. He then tried to wrestle him down and fell. As he's sitting on the ground Boogie cocked his fist back and came within inches of killing the guy and punching him in the back of the head. As long as Adams wouldn't have died on the play it would've been justified.
Fun series to watch and hopefully the finals lives up to that.

I thought the officiating in series was all over the map. There were times when both teams were getting the favored calls but IMO the Warriors received a lot of home calls in game 5&7. Durant was getting mugged yesterday with no calls. That said, the better team won. OKC is missing the depth that the Warriors have.

Curry and Klay are just deadly when both on. They can close the gap so quickly when they are behind they never really feel out of a game.

Yea, teams should be playing D like the Magic Johnson Lakers and Larry Bird Celtics did every time they met each other in the NBA Finals, amirite??!!?? You know, when every game played between the two but one had both teams scoring triple figure points.

The 1987 Finals matchup in particular should be required reading for every defensive-minded coach. That's when the Lakers closed out the Celtics in Game 6 by holding them to 93 points, which was the only time in their Finals matchups in the 1980s where either team scored less than 100 points. But the tone, direction and foundation of that epic defensive showcase were clearly laid in Games 1 and 2, when LA focused their defensive energies in grind 'em out victories over Boston. The final scores of 126-113 and 141-122 do nothing to convey how stellar the D was that both teams were playing on those nights.

I don't get it. So you are saying 86? I remember a much more physical game being played after that

You're killing me, Smalls. 1986 NBA Finals pitted Boston versus Houston Rockets.

Just messing with ya. Seriously, Ive got nothing against the current game. I love the new faster paced game and I know some rule changes took a bit of the physicality out of the game. I was just wondering when the sea change really took place.

Speaking of Boston. Johnny Most, longtime voice of the Celtics was a good friend and roomate of my dad at Brooklyn College. He invited my Dad and I a few times to watch early 70's Sixers-Celtics games in the press box when they came to Philly. Growing up in a family of non-drinkers/smokers he's the first person I ever saw drink and smoke heavily.

Iggy should've been T'd up. That was a basic basketball play, swiping at the ball. You know, unlike Draymond almost kicking Kyrie in the head in the first quarter.
Don't know what to make of the first game; Kyrie played too much hero ball, he was 1-9 on shots where he brought the ball up and didn't pass. Lebron was taking the ball to the bucket first quarter at will, and then settled for jumpers rest of the game. Cavs missed a ton of layups. JR Smith takes 3 shots??

On the flip side, Steph and Klay were held to combined season low. Yes, I said were held, not had collective off nights. Can the Warriors bench have a similar performance again in the series?

As I told TPE yesterday, I expected GS to win last night, and fully expect Cleveland to get Game 2.

Basic basketball play from the guy who took out Korver last season's playoffs, and got Gibson and Horford ejected with his antics - only a homer or Van Gundy would suggest Iggy should have been teed up. Refs handled it correctly - foul - nothing else - should have done it quicker. I have no doubt Delly knew exactly what he was doing but no biggie.

Cool your jets on that Paul, not while I'm at game 4. I'll storm the court before I let that happen.
Glad I had an overnight flight and missed the game last night. Sounds like a pretty sad effort from my Cavs
